I like the kid a lot BUT we gotta slow down a bit and see what he does with more minutes and against better teams. Soon other teams are gonna scout Tyler and then we will see how he adjusts

I think speed/mobility/athleticism is very important when Melo is our PF
Jeremy Tyler has to potential to be at least a solid rotational player at PF/C
Can he be our starter in the future? I don't know
But if we can sign someone like Duncan to help further his development in 2015 it certainly would help with his fundamentals and elevate his game

Chandler is slower, older, and less mobile, he does have experience, but I believe he isn't a good fit for our roster with our lack of 2way players to compliment him
Like AB, Kmart, Amare, and now Tyler, I believe it is a better fit for Melo and the rest of our team

He looks like a 12-15 year starter at power forward.

I like Tyler's game a lot. I hope we were smart with his contract. I cannot find any info on that.

Chandler has been fine out there and is the key piece of the small ball lineup that gets W's. Tyler over AB and Tyler over Stat ALL DAY, but I think the Chandler hate has gotten a little out of hand lately.

I don't mind chandler on defense, but Tyler should be groomed to be our starting center of the future... Chandler wishes he had the range and offensive skill Tyler has... Right now chandlers minutes should be limited to around 25 a game keep him fresh and give Tyler his back up minutes... Chandler is our defensive anchor... Tyler has potential to be a lot better then chandler Love that 7'5 wingspan..

I agree with this. There is a LOT to like about Tyler.

Just a few notables
A. Look how fast he gets up and down the court.
B. When we play big big--it looks natural--not like playing Bargs Chandler which is awkward.
C. Beautiful touch for a big man who is so young--shows signs of advanced footwork
D. Effort is great
E Plays solid defense rebounds

This guy is a player

Tyler isn't a center. He looks like he could be very solid as a power forward.

he wouldn't stand a chance against hibbert. lets face it... when it comes to bigs in the east... hibbert is the new measuring stick.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

I think he can play either position.. He's got the size to play center the speed to guard power forwards.. He's played both positions for us more power forward then center. I also disagree on hibbert.. Tyler is almost 260 and with the 7'5 wingspan along with his incredible ups I think he could hold his own vs hibbert.. Also think Tyler could blow right by him when hibbert would have to go out and guard him because of Tyler's awesome range.

I believe he has out of this world vertical .. He's listed 6'10 250 and hitting the weight room that's a really big power forward.. I see him becoming a future center

I'd rather the Knicks look to get Bargs on a weight training program and have him bang against other Centers. He's already proven that he can guard bigs in the post. We've also got Cole for that kind of job. I'd rather let Tyler be free to do his thing against PF's and only spend a limited time at C. Tyler is so quick, athletic and agile and on top of that he already has skills to score in multiple ways. He just needs more PT and coaching. Tyler looks like he could develop into the PF we Knicks fans deserve.

I don't care what he is listed. He is 6'9". too small against Hibbert.

Ok then don't play him as a center against Hibbert. There are not many "Hibberts" in the league. I actually like him playing Center vs Hibbert. Hibbert will give him that Mid Range shot. The same Mid range shot that is money for Tyler. Hibbert is only dangerous when he is patrolling the paint. Leave Tyler open a few times and that will end.

“Absolutely (in the rotation). Because he’s given us some high-energy minutes, which is kind of nice. I can’t emphasize it enough,”

Who is the "official big man" coach on the knicks. Is it peaches and Herb ?

Would like to find out who is responsible for helping him develop his game at the NBA level.

Shows fire and desire against nominal talent, can't wait to see him perform on Saturday.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Do you still see Tyson as a 7/7 player?

between aldrich and tyler, we really don't need chandler,

we should trade chandler TODAY because his value will only decrease from here,

you're not winning a championship this year, so you trade chandler for a strong piece at point guard and give it to the young guns at C to fill the "void",

it's not much a void by the way because chandler is fugazy
