We have a lot of guys who can score-but all of the important pieces from 12 minute back ups to the star have now been better aligned for this team. Hes a good guy to sign as well going forward for 1mm per for the next 3 years to keep continuity. A guy who can get you 13-15 boards per 35 minutes and play good defense--having a guy like that at minimal cost is important we havent really used Cole all year. Last year we had many more role players--guys just knew what to do--and Bargs --not him personally but his game through off everything here. I think sign BOTH Aldrich and Tyler to 3-4 year contracts for minimal $$$ after this season--give them some security and give us young bigs we can grow with. They dont have to be the stars--thye have to be the value players every good team has.
Briggs I'm surprised more posters haven't mentioned role players actually having a distinct role on the team. Guys who don't have to try and do so many things while on the court, but just specialize what they are good at. I see Kmart and Coles playing the same role.
I see Bargs and Amare playing the same role, why hasn't Woodson given each player on the team a distinct role when they get on the floor.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
