If melo doesnt score 30, he's not a super star, If he scores 62 its not good enough

Bargnani is supposedly trash (some of you must've he was the reason we beat miami)

We clearly see BENO contributes NOTHING then we bash murry.

Why would any player want to come here?

Woodson is the problem. This league is changing and he's stuck on stupid.

NO BIGMAN IN THIS LEAGUE can stop bargnani 12-17 ft from the rim. He hurt himself tryin to posterize 2 ppl.

Shumpert should not be starting the way hardaway is playing. Aldrich sole purpose should be rebounds and 6 HARD FOULS.

Jr is starting to get the picture and playing much better.

THE END-- rant over

I wouldn't say Knicks fans are among the worst.

I would say the Knicks are THE WORST

If countries can remove a president, whats a team owner?

This has to be the dumbest thread ever. first of all Knick fans are the most loyal fans out there. Proof is that even during the isiah years the fans always came and cheered even when they knew were were terrible. Lets face it since 2000 the Knicks havent been good. In 14 years we had 1 good year where we won 54 games. Fans have a right to be upset

ON the rebuilding around melo thread, you end YOUR COMMENT saying "we're probably gonna be bad next yr"
We're not even there and your still expecting ****ty results.
On paper this team was better, younger, faster than last yrs. Let things play out...

Our organization is a joke....Until we have a new owner, we just have to roll with the punches.
When the owner wants to win at all costs, thats when it happens.
IE: Steinbrenner,Cuban

StarksEwing1"Fans need to realize thats its not about wanting melo to be traded its about NOT letting him walk for nothing. We paid a hefty price for melo(too hefty IMO) so letting him walk for nothing would be beyond stupid unless we are shooting for the number 1 pick in 2015 which might not be a bad idea considering we are probably gonna be bad next year anyway"

You are implying trade melo for something worthwhile, unless we decide to tank, which isnt a bad idea because we are going to suck anyway.
How do you know we are going to suck? We won a string of games without melo ask Jeremy Lin.
Last year we beat Miami by 20, WITHOUT MELO
Does melo make us better? Yes

All im sayin is let it play out.... players can say what they want about winning but in this world its all about the money.
Robinson cano will never know what playing baseball in october is like again, the seattle mariners season will be over in july. but 240 Million is alot of money to spend,
Melo IS NOT WALKING AWAY FROM 30 Million

I never said we are gonna tank. i was being hypothetical. You dotn have to question my loyalty. Im probably a bigger fan than you are. I go to about 20 games a year since the 90's Im also a positive fan but i also try to be honest. I appreciate your passion BUT dont attack the fans. Our fans are as loyal as you can get

Knicks fans are the most passionate and dedicated fans in the league, however no fan base treats their star players worse.

Have to agree with that
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Loved Ewing i never bashed him because he still had so much playoff sucess. My only issue with Melo was not waiting for free agency. We could have used those pieces to get Paul or Howard. I feel we would ahve eben in a better position to win

Knicks fans used to be the best but now everyone wants a draft pick and salary cap space and 5 hall of famers all at the same time.

Alot of fans are still talking about the bright lights of the big city. Nyc is not like it used to be people don't care about that **** anymore. They can get famous by themselves. There's parties everywhere. Celebs travel all over to party.

These fans deserve this team. Some are still hoping they turn it around. Still praying for Rondo and Chris Paul. All think Shumpert is going to be Dwayne Wade.

Nobody even plays ball in the city like that anymore. Every Park used to be flooded. Not anymore.

Alot of us are here cuz the thirst for basketball team is real. Alot have left because of everything I said above.

oh and people are still taking about isiah! Oh lord have mercy!

A lot of people were very critical of Ewing. I agree with your issue with Melo, however we must take into account the 'human' aspect, whereas considering the situation he was in, with the pending lockout, max extension on the table etc, most can't blame him for wanting security. Too much risk to pass up at age 26. I'm sure he wished he could have structured his contract like Lebron, Wade, and Bosh did so he was a free agent in 2010 with them. That's his biggest mistake. He would have come here as a free agent with Amare no question about it.

I dont blame him for wanting security but considering he probably made a ton of money before the trade he probably could have scarificed a little to come to the team he grew up watching. Look this is not about Gallo or chandler or even the draft picks. My point is that we could have used those pieces elsewhere to get either a top Center or a top point guard.

I sure didnt and my friends didnt. I think he shouldnt have made the gurantees for teh title at least publicly. I think tahts the only thing that bothered people. In 1994 we came within an inch of winning it all. I was only 8 years old but it hurt for a long time lol

I agree for the most part. But the security wasn't about giving up a little money. He had to protect himself from a lockout with unknown future contract structures, or even worse, a potential freak career-ending injury. If he passed up that extension, then something happened and he never saw another contract in his career, he would be the dumbest athlete in america. That's why i can never blame him for wanting that security when presented to him. As a Knicks fan i wish he waited, of course.

Knicks fans are among the worst!!!
