Thjr is great, nice to see Woodson leave him in at the end. The kid is gonna be a star with more time on the floor.
I'd like to see this line up more

I think that 5 can score at will! Teams double teaming melo and stat leaving wide open shots for thjr,and or smith,ray . Other teams are in for a long night on the defensive end vs that 5.. That said I'd love to see thjr in the starting 5 over Pablo. Pablo is a nice back up pg who can get the ball moving and create fast break pts for the 2nd unit. I'd be really happy if thjr got 30 plus min a game the rest of the way.

Hopefully he learns how to be a good defender. And hopefully we don't trade him for Lowry. I don't even know if I'd want him included in a deal for Rondo to be honest.

The only problem with that plan is we'd have to score 150 every game to win. Felton shoots as much junk as he makes. Stat is still dribbling with his feet, and JR has no swagger back yet.

Layup line, highlight dunk reel at the other end, with an occassional swat by Melo. Not much fun to watch.

Hardaway has a similar release to Blackman's jumper IMO, but he is starting to show some of his Dad's ability to get to the rim as well. Very little wasted effort in how he plays.

Don't sell Blackman short. He was a fiesty player. Cuttino too. Both were known for their but both could handle and throw it down back in the day.

Hardaway is one of the few positives this years. Its amazing DRAFT a 1st round pick for a change and good things might happen. I wish this organization would value draft picks more often instead of throwing them away

all of our picks have a chance, we draft good talent we just develop it horribly.

Shump, Fields, Frye

How many promising young players have we had that started off looking great but eventually our organization killed their confidence.. Hardaway looks good, but i just hope NY doesn't kill his career before it even starts

well fields overachieved his first year IMO. He came ack down to earth and played like a 2nd rounder. Frye was a high pick but when we drafted him i didnt see him as a impact player

We either Draft really well and dont develop or trade the pick

Ariza--left NY, got a chip in LA, Is lightin it up in Washington
Frye-- Solid stretch 4
David Lee-- No praise needed, just look at the stats
Shump--if he was on any other team not called the knicks would already be much further ahead on the development curve
Fields-- solid player off the bench, definitely not a starter
Rautins-- took him because dantoni played with his dad......picked right before stephenson, NO MORE FUCKIN FAVORS FOR ANYONE
Gallinari--Solid 3, not a superstar but the guy was a lights out shooter, if we had him playing the 3 and melo the 4, this team would be VERY DIFFERENT
Wilson Chandler-- If he could come motivated and WANTED to score, the guy would be great

I see the Blackman comparison more than Mobley. Mobley was a solid enough ball handler to play point guard from time to time. I'm not sure if THJ will ever get to that point. But the kid can score. He'll definitely be high teens scorer once he get a better feel for scoring in the paint and mid-range area. As for Ro Blackmon, dude had one of the smoothest Js coming off the screen. Jeff Malone and Reggie Miller are probably the only guys I can think of who were smoother. Blackman was also a solid defender. Too bad he was washed up by the time he became a Knick.

THJ really, really, really needs to hit the weight room and get with someone to work on all kinds of defensive drills.

If he can get lower, move his feet to prevent penetration and also not get bullied around in the post -- he could be very good.

Right now --- he gets lost all over the court and sometimes shows a high level of apathy on the defensive end. Ex. -- yesterday when he just let that guy dribble from the wing and stepped out of his way like a bull-fighter.

Shot is pure, can finish, has an outstanding 1 or 2 dribble pull up game and understands where to find shots with in the offense. He is everything IMAN is not from a scoring perspective. Timmy = Old School Game ----- IMAN = Street Ball Game

Rolando Blackman is a very nice comparison -- particularly visually. Blackman however was a all-NBA caliber defender as well in his prime. Timmy needs lots of work there.

I never understood why some fans didn't like the pick. The kid was one of the most athletic players in the draft, but some didn't think he was a real athlete. Now maybe they know better. He has more skills than his doubters thought too. Perhaps they didn't watch enough Michigan games, but the kid came in with a good skill level. He just needs to continue to be developed. He's got tons of upside when you consider his poor defensive skills. His handle isn't elite, but it's not horrible as some thought. He's a better shooter and finisher than Shump. Those of us who liked the kid were told we were being typical Knick fans who overrate all of our picks. There was a contingent who said we should've taken Reggie Bullock instead. I felt THJ had a better overall game and more upside. We'll see, but I am very happy with how THJ has progressed.
