You think any manager managing the yankees can reach the mid point of any season with the 4th or 5th worse record in the league and NOT get CANNED, I don't think I have ever seen a selfish yankee player..Atleast not in a yankee uniform
It's got to be a culture thing, history. The yanks attract a high character demeanor, the yankees know nothing but winning, guys put on that uniform and respect it.
We some how have been the drama queens of the NBA in this great big market..
I think its just a bad vibe in the organization,it's just No way to explain all the spending and the enormous amounts of bad luck, bad timing, bad decision.
Theres just so much more structure wnen it comes to the yankees top to bottom, they don't have a great farm system, but they go after the best and usually get there guy.
Our knicks seem to scramble for seconds and thirds, we don't have a legit 2nd starter on this team, let alone star. We have 2nd and 3rd tier guys from the players to the coaching staff.
We play just like the organization is run, extremely inconsistent, like we never had a plan, and certainly didn't have a contingency plan if the original plan didn't work..
It's like we sign players and hope the bright lights and super stars at court side will help players elevate there game. Yankees sign players on merit and championships and players want to elevate their game.
We wait too long to cut ties with bad moves, and move too fast on moves you should have been patient on.
