I don't think many teams will give up much for Melo because he is a
1year 1/2 year rental
GM's will lowball Knicks and after watching D12 leave Lakers for NOTHING, I don't see why any GM would make a huge trade for Melo (at least if he forgoes his ability to OPT out)
In addition, GM's know that Melo isn't worth the contract that he wants, especially at his age and deficiencies
With 2015 around the corner, many teams would rather use that cap space elsewhere than pay Melo whatever he thinks he is worth
GM's build for the present and future and Melo just isn't as good as he thinks he is, he is a very good scorer but he needs much talent around him
CA needs to understand he is NOT bigger than the game itself, a reason why The Pacer's are my favorite to win the East in this year
They have talent on both OFF and DEF but they all sacrifice and take turns working ToGETHER, making them a perfect fit, mixed with size, length, athleticism, talent, youth and veteran exp to go with their competitiveness
Yes, I think we should trade Chandler, Melo, and whoever, can yield us back any picks, and shorter salaries
I wouldn't trade JR Smith now because his value is low and I believe it can grow back
Problem is we have too many NEGATIVE value contracts and we have traded already way too many future picks to build a team the traditional way
