Pro-When knicks score more than other team, they win.

Pros: generally a decent regular season coach.
Cons: sucks in the post season.
Not very good at in game adjustments. Too much Isoball. Does not get team easy fast break points. Everything is grind it out. His defensive philosophy of switching doesn't work.

Loving the jokes but I really want to know what the pros and cons are.

My guess is there won't be much depth in the pros department

Just want to confirm this with the overall majority

Remember how Dantoni use to always say "LET's GO" repeatedly to try to get his players to get new results?
It DID NOTHING and he didn't tell his players HOW to play better
Like many systems and coaches, Dantoni needs specific skills, talent/physical abilities in speed/quickness/athleticism, and most importantly Basketball IQ and a PG to run his system on top of a TEAM TO WORK TOGETHER for each other

well

Woodson's success last year were run by the veteran's experience, experience, leadership, guidance, and had the respect of Melo/JR and the rest of the team
In comparison to Dantoni, Woodson gives long mean stares but also puts in a combination of players that DO NOT WORK
He makes the same mistakes and poor decisions over and over again, without learning from his past mistakes and decisions it defeats the whole purpose

The reason why we had a WINNING streak and started off the season poorly was because

Tyson Chandler, AB, and Melo DO NOT WORK well together but Woodson always wants to run the same philosophy not taking account to the producition/skill sets/ inabilities of his lineups and rotations
He isn't currently in NBA shape, in general he is much slower, without much skill, but he can be very good defender WHEN he has the defenders to play TEAM DEF with him (however, we don't have many players to pair his abilities up with
He is just a poor fit in the starting lineup and I think he should be inserted with Murry together, along with some upgrades.
Felton seems to have a connection with Chandler and I think they both should be playing from our bench

AB and Kmart at PF/C and Amare as the 6th man off the bench was the main reason why we won as they were productive together and the other players were able to play better as a whole with much better spacing/movement generated by them

AB abilities open things up for Melo because he pulls the C out, creating more opportunities for Melo and the rest of the team to attack
While Kmart moves well off the ball and can make some solid passes when AB and the rest of the team force

Iman(constantly plays out of position, playing SF as a mismatch, vs playing the PG/SG (on defense when his rookie year because we don't have a good SF and he in fact is our best defender)

Felton is not very good and isn't STARTING PG material, he is a horrible DEFENDER especially at the PG position along with Pablo and Urih
But even with 1 possession left on DEF, Woodson would still use them to FINISH the last play of the game because he trusts them

There's not much in the pro or con department. He's just an ordinary coach who over the long-run like most coaches probably doesn't impact the W-L record.

I totally agree with the bolded part. Tyson doesn't really fit with the lineups that are successful for this team.
