He didn't go to the hole. Both shots were from the corner, near the baseline. Bargs was covering the paint.

He still has to put more effort into closing out, gotta commit once he's in that situation, he gives no effort on guarding perimeter players, weather there coming at him, or shooting a jumper

Does any other Knick guards drive to their left besides Beno ?

Maybe that's what throwing the Bobcats defense off from effectively guarding him.
