We cannot deny TALENT, he was hungry last year
He feels we "OWE" it to him for how he played vs how much he made and also Chris Smith as part of the package too (but he did get paid, even thought he got waived in FULL)

He should watch this and see the difference, he is playing completely different, physically and mentally
Last season, was the only season that he showed he had the ability to "FACILITATE" and improved his DEF, SHOT SELECTION, DRIBBLE/PENETRATION and FINISHING, making him a realistic future candidate to be a STARTER and not just a 6th man or backup role that he was his entire life
With those improved skills, if you put the scorers and shooters around him, it would allow him to execute despite having a poor BB IQ

Unfortunately, he had a knee procedure/surgery, setting him back physically, and just isn't the same player he was
Was it a 1 year wonder or a contract year break out?
It seems as he just doesn't learn and the talent coming out of high school to the PROS was just too much for players like JR and BYNUM
All the $$$ and fame, from an early age does a lot to a boy with all the talent they knew they had at a young age

To me, he has to man up, accept his wrong to his coach, his team, and to himself, motivate himself from here on to be a
Problem is, he is acting like a spoiled brat and he doesn't seem to care/understand his mistakes, wrong doings, and immaturity
He will go bankrupt if he does not change his attitude/life style, especially if he has a his own "ENTOURAGE"
His first 2 years was paid up front and he probably used his 1st year's salary already

He was great last season- locked in and playing well. I can forgive him for not being at the same level this year (he had serious knee surgery and couldn't work out over summer), my issue is with his lazy attitude this season- our record is abysmal, it's not the time to be messing around and not giving it your all in games. It's the fact he doesn't bother defending anymore, he switches at the drop of a hat, he's out of position on defense and offense, and when team mates try to get him to go to the right place, he seems to refuse to.

Might need one of these threads for THJ in a few months.

I listen to games, especially when they play the Nyets, and it always seemed like he was always getting a key rebound at key times.

I don't know, I was one who thought that originally signing JR was a huge mistake, but I think he brings too many good things to constantly be writing him off for his minor boneheadedness.

You have to remember that everything with JR is relative. snicker snicker
