Iman has been grumpy all season. We knew something was different this morning when he said hello to the reporters. See, it pays to be nice.

A Knick win, plus excellent performance by Melo, means certain posters will stay away.

Win/Win for everyone!!

Melo looked amazing tonight. He seemed to benefit from the break. Shump did save the day but I wouldn't say again. Shump was tossing up air balls for at least a month. Tonight he played like Shump pre-haircut.

Udrih . . . yeah, I know, I know, he's awful but . . . as long as he doesn't try to shoot the ball, he looks more or less like a PG on offense . . . and, yes, he's a defensive liability (though he does move around the court in mildly useful ways) but . . . since we don't really have another player who can run the team . . . I'd give him minutes. He's not a better player than, oh, Felton but he does distribute the ball, collect assists, and slow down the deadly tendency the Knicks have of isolations on every possession.

To take time off like that--and just come back like its no big deal and do 27-12--hes a great NBA player. It also looked like he got hurt in the last minute unless I was seeing something esle?

25/12/4 and he's choking?!? Your act is a little tired now....

Choking means in the clutch.

+10, a steal and a block. And 5 fouls.
Hating means never fearing to look truly stupid.

Still, you gotta hand it to guns, he's the only Somber who showed up.

I show up in game threads when I watch the games but what's the point in watching this team? I just catch a little bit here and there. If they produce anything worth watching consistently, I'll watch again.

Bless you, Bonn.
Your tremendous magnaminity is only matched by your overinflated sense of the importance and value of your one-line responses.

Although, that was technically two lines. Bravo!

Yup, it was awesome! We need to get better personnel on this team to run with Melo. Cannot afford to lose him for nothing.

I've been saying it for eons...Melo needs another scorer to take the pressure off him...The team will look like a different team...

Makes sense that your evaluation acumen would bring you to that conclusion...

Their improved play aside, what I really liked about this game was how everyone was communicating with each other on the floor. When there was a defensive lapse, or something went wrong on offense, more often than not they talked it over, or yelled at each other and went over what should have happened. Even Woodson was yelling at JR with seconds left in the game.

One thing that worries me is Beno. Two consecutive plays in crunch time he coughed up the ball. Not the first time he's done that late in a game. Would rather have Murry in there if its a choice between the two.

yeah i agree with bonn... no point in watching this team until they play themselves back into relevance. it's nice to win a game now and then, but really-- the whole season has been a real turn-off, both figuratively and literally.

i'll start watching more closely again when the nix reach .500.

until then the so-called real fans can continue arguing about how many angels fit on the head of a pin

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I'm not saying that Linsanity pt II will happen - but you would have missed the ride then if you followed this logic

for me, they're at the end of the line but I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet
