Saw someone started a thread about this but can find it.

I watched the Original 2003 movie last nite and it lived up to its many accolades and awards it won at the time.

No spoiler alert to discuss as I won't get too much into it but highly recommend it. Its intense and refreshing as it goes places unexpected.

When I was done I was thinking about what spike lee will do to the movie but my wife thought it better that some how James Dolan holds Spike Captive for 15 years of mostly horrible basketball and how that might correlate into the story.

Not one to go to many movies as I prefer to use my netflix subscription and enjoy the Streaming version from time to time to catch movies like this. I dig the premium bluRay experience with my home theatre. While there are few movies I'd ever walk out on I have started some movies and stopped them if they are total crap. I'll just put another on or stream one. Time is important.

I'll likely wait until for the spike lee version but was hoping some one knew of a parody linking Spike, the movie and the knicks! Be a good SNL type skit!

What an odd movie for Spike to rework. That said, Inside Man was great so maybe it's worth a look.
