Miami plays without Wade 9 times this year their 22-7

injuries are part of basketball

we have more than enough to win at home against teams under .500 and we dont. I dont think Woodson can control whether or not Andrea Barganai can finish a game 6-17 after starting 4-5. That was a multi million dollar decision by management in the offseason.
We had one of the best PG games all year 15-10-4 with 1 TO

You have to be able to win when one of your main guys go down---last year we won at Miami when Melo went down we won other games without him--like Miami does without wade. Difference is this team just is no where near as good. My concern is we are really somewhat stuck--not just this year--but I dont see the light at the end of the tunnel--I can post this 50 times--but its still the real deal--we sign Melo in 2014 for 130 and we have enough money for 1 max player WITH Ray Felton Pablo and JR Smith all 2 years older as your main team THJ as well----my guess is that they cut Shumpert we have a draft pick next year but what is the plan here---how does this owner honestly think this team improves what Kmnick bull fan im talking positive can do the numbers and think were going to get better anytime in the next 5 years--and than that extends to 10 years becuase if youre bad in 5 you add 5 to that. I mean were really in shts creak really really bad. You have fans who are in the mid 40's like me who start thinking---do we have any chance to enjoy what we did in the 90's even though we did not win a chip? This owner makes the game for the fans not fun not fun at all. I may write a very serious note to the NBA offices as a former 13 year tix holder and hope that some of these beat writers say enough is enough they wield some power. I do not think one person with 0 qualifications should be the only word on this franhcise--we have one aberration in well over a decade and were golden? Weve traded how many draft picks spent how much money gone though how many coaches GMs lost how many games while outspending every team by far. I dont see ANY light at the end of any tunnel--Im really sck of this sht as a true blue fan since I was born. This is NOT NY sports

I still don't see how you can say more than enough to win.

We actually got very good guard play last night

Beno 15-10-4
JR 17-7-6
15 pts from THJ

with Amare 20mm
Tyson 12mm
Bargs 11mm

that should be enough to win games at home against teams under .500

But this team is NOT good enough to do it. It should be but its not. That means there is a serious problem. Lats night was a huge game and they lost by 10 at home a 24 pt turn around.

U are comparing a team with JR Smith/Bargs as it's best players to Durant/Ibaka and LeBron/Bosh...

What do bad contracts have to do with winning. It's very clear Bargs, Amare and Chandler are not worth their contract.

They will never have enough because of our management allows it and doesn't know basketball.

1. Sign a player/trade that doesn't do multiple things well?

Amare, can't defend or rebound, used to be an elite offensive player, bid against themselves he wasn't getting 4 years. If someone was dumb enough to sign him, likely BK then so be it.

Tyson can't score the ball offensively can only score on dunks and open putbacks. One of the worst at his position. Solid but not elite defender that doesn't change the game plan.

Andrea, can't defend, rebound or shoot a high percentage, but is making fringe All Star cash. Combounded bad signings into a trade and cost us a pick.

2. Trade for a player with limited options in the current market mid season?

Anthony had one viable option and that was BK. Dolan panicked because he thought it was going to happen, but Melo would have been in a worse situation then he is in now in NY. Anthony remarked the other day that they had to give up everything to get me and it would take 3 years to rebuild????? And you allowed them to do it anyway? You were getting paid, you made the season about you, but you forced your way to a team to cripple their talent. (Felton, Chandler, Gallo, Melo, Amare) would have been a long and balanced team with the amnesty for Amare just in case.

3. Using the amnesty provision wisely?

Picked up a 9MM option only to amnesty a one year deal. Cap savings none, upgrade to team marginal. Playoff victories that season 1.

At the end of the day you hire bad management you get what the Knicks and Nets are. Billy King panics mid season turns a lottery pic into Gerald Wallace and then overpays him to stay. You don't wait the market out and you trade for Joe Johnson and give the Hawks the right to swap. Any other profession you are fired on the spot for decisions like that. Same thing we went through with Isiah.

Knicks have been making bad moves for a decade. OKC has guys that care, we do not. You think if a guy is drinking before games and getting blasted like JR the Spurs, Thunder would resign him and then give his ****ing brother a contract?

We don't have one guy that is really hungry on this team. Not one. Tyson pretends that he is, but if that was the case this guy would have learned how to play offense. It's that simple. They pretend to be hard, tough, but all I ever see is someone willing to outwork and out hustle.
