Sorry I had to take a break from UK and the knicks in general. This team drives me nuts. LOL
anyways, couple of thoughts
- i cant take this team seriously until they get completely new players or get healthy. i think most of the team's problems stem from lack of health, bad defense (which should improve with tyson back) and a bad offensive philosophy. Last yr, this team won when teams doubled Melo and left 3 pt shooters open. Now teams have learned not to double melo
- Lack of health kills this team: Ray, Prigs (did dude seriously break his toe tripping over the half court line), JR (bad knees), Amare, KMart, Metta and Tyson (the heart and soul of this team
- Maybe Shumpert isnt that talented. We kept expecting Shump to make the next step. What if hes simply another Ronny Brewer/Thabo Sefalosha clone (skilled defender who can hit the occasional three). he is SO expendable to me
- all these stupid trade rumors (lowry or rondo) will simply put bandaids on a lesion thats HEMORRHAGING. in regards to trades, i hope they dont make a silly trade to mortgage the future
- speaking of future, THJ can play! (BRIGGS how do you like him now? if i remember, you werent to happy about him when drafted. Im not picking on you, i actually want to know your opinion). Toure should play more - because why not?!?!?
- Bargnani was and has been a surprise to me. I thought he dogged it all these years in toronto but hes played pretty well. with that said, any team who has him as a 2nd option is in trouble. The knicks should change their "switching" defense specifically to prevent him from being matched up with opposing PGs. Whenever i see ty lawson, jrue holliday, nate robinson going against bargs, im like O NO!
- im sick and tired of JR!! (not worth writing more)
- I was wrong about Udrih, I thought he wouldve been the biggest free agent pickup for us. His offense is non-existent and his defense is HORRIBLE.
- woody has made some mistakes (wizards game)but overall, what the hell is he supposed to do!?!? this team is flawed and snake bitten with bad injuries. No good coach will want to come to this mess. Also, as long as Melo is here, woody will get his support to stay (#thanksCAA). If melo leaves, woody leaves.
- in regards to Melo...i can take him or leave him. Sounds like hes gonna hold the knicks hostage to get his max deal extension. This is a one-dimensional-talented-offensive-savant with obvious weaknesses. He needs a talented PG (to make players better that he cant) and defensive role players (to play the defense he doesnt) around him. By bankrupting the knicks, they simply wont have the money to get him the help he needs. knicks would have to wait until 2015 when they unload tyson, amare and bargs' contracts. (reggie jackson, kemba walker??). If he leaves this summer, then thats 23mill off the books. at this point, Melo's decision (and it IS HIS because the knicks will NOT trade him) will dictate whether the team will rebuild in 2014 or 2015 thats all
- Thank GOD for NBA League pass. I get to see other teams. Ive adopted a couple west coast teams that i like watching (Sac Kings, NO Pelicans and Portland). I love the way Portland is constructed - need an elite PG, a good big man and surround them with 3D guys (defenders who can shoot 3s).
- Lastly, in regards to the draft, Wiggins is SOOOO overrated. not saying he wont be a solid pro but i dont get the hype. I think his ceiling is a Harrison Barnes type. Parker = rudy gay/carmelo hybrid. Marcus smart looks like a good lead guard. but the most impressive has been joel embiid - he keeps getting better each game. this draft will be good because its SO DEEP. cant wait until we draft - o wait!

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
