Danny Granger will be a free agent this summer. Is he worth going after? Larry Bird is not saying good things about him.

Danny Granger will be a free agent and he can shoot if he stays healthy or is the Amare sagga too much for us to take a gamble. I think Granger is really upset about what Larry Bird said about him not trying during off season. I believe Granger have something to prove. The only thing that worries me is his health. Maybe sign him for one year with an option and see what he can do.

I'd gamble on him as a one year try-out. I like the fact that he can be something of a combo forward, which should compliment Melo well.

he's worth a gamble if you like players who never play because of injury.

Those are Dolan's favorite type of players. It's a shame Michael Redd is off the table.

He's done.

He was already an inefficient chucker before his injury, now he's even more limited. I qould pass, but he's exactly the type of player (overpaid and done) that the knocks usually go after.

If we still had a 1st round pick to trade, I'd be worried.

granger = empty calorie, zero-sum player. knicks need to rebuild with youth not never-were players.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

DON'T WANT HIM. I am tired of our FO getting fleeced in trades. This trades would put us in cap hell all over again and destroy any chances of holding onto draft picks.

Lets rebuild around him. "Coming home 2", He was born in New orleans! Don't matter, Melo grew up in Baltimore and nobody knows.
When Melo takes a pay cut to play elsewhere we can use him as our "bridge to greatness"!!!
