More potential D-League help unavailable but at least we still have Chris Smith.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

The Knicks need to waive Chris. Kendall Marshall and now Curry are both actual prospects that might help the team.

Exactly. Two guys who could've helped us. I really want either Pierre Jackson or Isaiah Canaan -- those are the top 2 DL PGs at the moment imho. Thing is both of those guys belong to other teams. It would take a trade to acquire the rights to either player. The next best options for us would've been Curry then Marshall. Throw Kalin Lucas and Dee Bost into the mix as well...I was watching Steph Curry play the other night against San Antonio -- yeah he makes some mistakes turning it over but man, what that kid can do with that jumpshot. WOW. To think that maybe his younger brother Seth could possibly offer the same type of thing one day. These 2 guys have the same DNA and play a similar style -- well worth taking a chance on. Seth's been ripping it up for awhile now in the NBDL. Surprised actually that it took so long for him to get a call-up. Imagine the facelift we could've given this team with just a few minor moves for DL players to fill some of our gaps -- a move for a standout lead guard prospect that can shoot the lights out and move the ball (Seth Curry); another legit scorer at the 2/3 positions (Chris Douglas-Roberts); another productive rebounder at the 4 spot that can also put up some points (Richard Howell/Ike Diogu)... I mean we couldn't have figured out a way to reinforce the team with a couple of these guys while also finding a way to get Aldrich and Murry some real minutes??

Seth Curry
Tour'e Murry
Chris Douglas-Roberts
Richard Howell (or Ike Diogu)
Cole Aldrich

I'd pay money to come see these 5 all play together or mix & match with our existing players. Man, what a DRASTICALLY different team this could've been with only some minor tinkering like this...Too bad we don't put any stock into thinking along these lines, starting with our stubborn-as-all-get-out coach.

Sorry fellas, I disagree- what we actually need is MORE Chris Smiths on the team. We need to either research the Smith family tree and see if anymore of their clan can join us, or we need to look into cloning him. Ideally the lineup will be:

C- Chris Smith's dad
PF- Chris Smith's mom
SF- Chris Smith's 2nd cousin
SG- JR Smith
PG- Chris Smith

Eventually we need to groom Chris Smith to be our next head coach, like Jason Kidd. Make JR the GM, and then just fill the rest of the organizations roles (medical staff, PR, scouts) with friends of Chris Smith, who swear blind loyalty to Dolan.

At the end of each year everyones job performance will be evaluated based solely upon a genetics test to see how close they are genetically to Chris Smith, and how blindly loyal they have been to Dolan.

With Taylor out CDR might be starting now. He definitely has the talent. Good for him. Too bad he wasn't in NY. I still can't believe the Nets got Bropez, Anderson and CDR in the same draft. Thorn is a genius.
