Someone on this forum called this. I think it might've been jrod.

This really hurts the Nets. Lopez was playing great in the few games I watched.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I wonder if it is the same foot that he had surgery on. Third time for a broken foot.

This is what happens when you mortgage all your assets

Sure they can have blatche and Evans fill in but now their championship hopes are dashed and no assets to show

Lopez was playing really well. He is the best or second best center in the east. I wonder if they start Garnett at the 5 with Teletovic at the 4.

knicks & nets taken to the woodshed by the rest of the league.

both teams combined to trade away something like 7 first round picks unprotected the past 2 years.

He royally screwed them- obliterated their first round picks and clogged up the cap with salary, for ageing has been players- he was like IT on steroids

Wait the guys on TNT & ESPN said the Nyets made all the right moves this summer. You mean to tell me that they suck in the present & have no assets for the future, how could that be??? We all know Chuck, Shaq, Kenny & Stephen A are never ever wrong

Same foot that he had two surgeries on. It will be interesting to see if he can come back from this.

Thorn left the Nets in great shape.

Nets have assets. If you look at it objectively they are not so screwed. They have tradable assets. Teletovic is deceent, Bogonovich is the best Euro and can net them a 1st rounder. They have Blatch and his bird rights and can trade him for good value. Blatch is very good. They can trade Pierce and get back value. He can put a team over the top.

Not saying they are ready to give up and start selling, but they can unwind some of what they did.

Nets have chemistry/injury problems.

King went big and bold. I give him credit for trying. Too soon to call it an Isiah epic failure.

I want a championship in NY and if the knicks can't do it, I want the Nets to. An Oklahoma championship does nothing for me.

He did, but the new owner seemed to hate him straight away and got rid of him. The funny thing is, the media are so bizarrely captivated by the Nets owner I(and its been sickening to watch these grown men fawn over his every word), he seems to get a pass for making Dolan esq move, after Dolan esq move.

Time may prove that to be correct but Dolan took over after 1999 and the team in 15 years has not sniffed too much success. Prokhorov has bought a buzz and a 49 win season last year. Nets even witout BroPez can still make some noise. Their Salary structure is wack.

This is not about Billy King, its about his owner allowing him to be bold. Blame is intangible. it don't win games or lose them!
