Reuniting Van Gundy and Riles may not be too far fetched. I would have liked to see what the Knicks could have gotten in VG had been allowed to talk to Portland and accepted the position. A draft pick? A big body player? A lopsided trade?

I think after all is said and done, NY has better players than Miami has and will have for a while unless they get Tim Duncan.
