PRESERVE the cap space with 2nd year TEAM OPTIONS since the pick doesn't belong to us anyway

And in 2016 summer, there are always players like Durant, Battum, Noah (depending on how he does with his current injuries), Wilson Chandler/Gallo, Hickson, Iggy, Mosgov, Marc Gasol/Pekovic and many players have player option for 2015 that would expire in 2016 summer like Dragic, there are some more talent's in this class although not as many as 2015, there are some nice pieces that you can build around if you have been collecting a decent team

Most importantly building an identity and learning to play collectively as whole on both OFF and DEF to its highest potential, building chemistry, style of play, and starting to run a system is important to a TEAM, system, and coach
Finding development coaches that would help us develop young and younger talent, not necessary the next Lebron/Paul George etc but the next Danny Green/Stephen Jackson/Lance Stephenson/ Mosgove/Koufus is just an important

On OFFENSE, the whole point of running a system is because it makes ROLE PLAYERS effectives, real ALL STAR's can score in many different ways but to use their skills and abilities to CONSISTENTLY help make create better looks, with more ball movement, and with player movement (with purpose, which we have really NONE off)
In the end, ALL PLAYERS are very important to the team, including ROLE players, a proper system makes them shine, while we need all players confidence high, we also need them to be humble and be able to understand that no players is bigger than the game itself, Win's and championship is the greatest goal and it takes much sacrifice and teamwork to get there...

basically don't offer a Josh Smith type of talent a near max salary, Rudy Gay a big contract (although i still believe in his potential, with JR Smith opts out an overpaid contracts, we have to do what Houston did while spending the cap wisely while looking for value for assets that they can trade off and continue to build thru the FA of 2016 and so on, till we find the ALL star (Durant) or bunch of talents that can work TOGETHER for a system

this is a PG league...id focus on getting dragic to play with melo (since im sure they will pay him)
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

not sure if a PG actually wants to play with Melo in a WOODSON offense
it defeats the purpose of having a PG

For Woodson's offense, someone like Norris Cole/Patrick Beverely would make sense but Melo is NOT Lebron so the offense should not be constantly run through him because Melo doesn't have Lebron's abilities or skills, we need ball and PLAYER MOVEMENT (to make up for it), not a spread offense, without penetrators/finishers, he is HORRIBLE (Woodson)

That's not going to happen. Knicks don't have the foresight or the patience to avoid spending if they strike out on the top dogs. Until they hire and give the keys to a credible president who knows what he is doing it will be the same.
