He just posted this- feel free to fill in the blank!:

Doesn't sound good, and has all the hallmarks of being a serious injury (Knicks claiming it was just a bruise). So what do you all think the injury is?

It seemed like a simple banged knee to me.

It was on his repaired knee I think (think he had it scoped too this offseason)- just used to Knicks luck when it comes to injuries so I'm preparing myself for the worst!

If he's out for a few games, I don't think we'll miss his play- he has been awful both sides of the ball for most of the season, and is a big contributor to the lack of energy in many of the games (which I never thought I'd say about him). However it messes up any trade we might have lined up. At this point I want the trade done, just so we can rule a line under the saga.

It just makes me... want to work diligently at layups when I try to finish at the rim and get blk by Dunleavy JR.

Ha ha- I still can't believe how bad he is at finishing at the rim. I'm sure those 3 famous dunks are also the only 3 times he has actually successfully finished at the rim in his whole career! In his rookie year I thought it was just rookie nerves and that he was trying too hard to do something, but he hasn't shown any progress.

It proves he has it in him but half the time he looks hestitant. Like he doesn't know what his role is in the offense. I think a good coach will put him in spots where he will succeed. I think he would be much better off playing for Vogel or Popovich than Woodson and Melos knicks

I disagree he just looks horrible that's not on coaching that him. Maybe it is coaching because I would have stopped him from practicing the worst Euro Step move in the NBA long ago. Just isolating their finishing ability when has Shump ever looked as good as Hardaway?

I dont think those dunks prove anything other than that he is athletic. He has no feel around the rim, for smaller players you need to have finesse to be a good finisher along with strong body control, two things he doesn 't have. Just look at Lin, he wasn't very athletic but was a very good finisher with us because he had strong body control.

Shump is day to day. Bruised left knee, per Knick PR.

Felton out 2-3 weeks.

Well, we may very well of seen the last of Shump as a Knick- Dec 15th is coming up, and if they do have a trade lined up, it makes sense not to play him.

With Felton and Shump out, I wonder if Murray gets a shot.

This is good news in a way this shortens the rotation and you get to take two major disappointments off the court. Get to see more of Hardaway and hopefully see Murry.

Im not in favor of firing coaches. Rather lets hold the players accountable.. but if Woody goes back to Felton can him. Felton has not been in shape all year. He's portland Fat as far I am concerned. Funny... all my years of playing ball you see the same thing over and over. Guys who are out of shape get hurt.

I wouldn't mind Felton as a back up- I think he'd be pretty good in that role, if he doesn't sulk- he is capable of scoring at will, sometimes.

He was in pretty good shape when training camp started- seems to have piled on the pounds since the injury (he was really fast and looked good before he went down in preseason.
