He also said Iggy was a mole in the Denver Golden State series and is the only coach that I am aware of that had a clause not allowing him to drink alcohol during the season when he coached Seattle. I think he is more of a big mouth then a guy that speaks for all coaches.

The Nets might just be worse. I know they are missing Pierce and Williams--but they simply stink--worse than the Knicks. Watching Denver--wow how badly could we use Mosgov and Chandler?--why wasnt Gallo Felton and picks enough??????? Denver killed us on that trade.

It's George Karl. By him a shot of whiskey and he'll say something entirely different the next time.

The entire quote will really piss people off

"I watch the Knicks play and I wouldn't want to be in that hell for a million dollars. It's just New York City and the Garden and the immensity of the pressure. I think Mike Woodson is standing up to it with tremendous integrity,"

Whoa.

I'm a big fan of Mozgov - simple big men that board, hold their own and manage to score efficiently?

Because no GM in the league would have made that deal if Melo was on their roster.

Wasn't the GMs choice. That decision can be traced to J.D. Could've been worse. It could've been Deron Williams.

We aren't talking about what Dolan wanted but what Denver or any other team would have accepted for Melo.

they knew we were desperate, so they took all they could... The knicks could have or should have told them, chandler, and curry's expiring or nothing.. we will roll the dice with him as a free agent.. or they could have done what I would have loved for us to do.. tell denver and carmelo to kick rocks..

the reason we're not firing Woody is that NO ONE WANTS TO COACH HERE

Meanwhile, Mosgov had 17 points and 20 rebounds

Donnie Walsh knew what he was doing

Neither did most posters here. Some took it harder than others.
