never seen Mitch Richmond compared to The Big O before...

of course, we are getting none of these players, but nice to see knicks fans care so much other teams' prospects for getting better

playa - really? You need to think about the Hall of Fame, game changing players like Bill Russell, Wilt, Elgin Baylor, Sam Jones, Jerry Lucas, Jerry West, Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Gus Johnson, Nate Thurmond, before you characterize a golden era of NBA hoops as weaker and slower.

They were weaker, they were never as strong as guys today. Same for football, they were slower and weaker back then, there is no denying that. The farther you go back mista, the slower and weaker they were. Mind you I didn't say they weren't smart or fundamentally sound playing the game..

I see the comparison..... is more of a physical thing than what they will do in their career. Oscar and mitch rich is so I see when I see this kid too.

I used to always feel bad for Mitch Richmond- poor guy, exiled to the Kings for most of his career, but I don't remember him complaining.
