Johnathan Bender?

Would Bird trade Bender to NY? Bender once beat Bird in a game of horse. Bender is the type of player that could all of a sudden be a star in this league....but he's sitting behind Harrington and Artest.

Bender is a proven shot blocker, finisher, and 3pt threat. In these playoffs he's shown he can rebound too. Bird would definately want Frank and for Isiah to take back one of Indiana's burdens.

I dont think and Indy players get here because of the Bird/Isiah dynamic. Also Bender plays the 3... he's not a center by any means.

I'm more in favor of taking a step back and drafting a bigman.

I don't think Isiah and Bird are on speaking terms. Bender's a great player, but I think they'd only be able to get him if they took a guy like Croshere with him. I'd have no problem with that.

Crocere is a good player. He's not great....and not worth the money he makes but he would be ok if the Knicks got to get rid of KT.

With a Johnathan Bender trade....the Knicks could start Tim and Bender at the forward with Nazr. That was just a thought though....

Who else can we get? I'm talking left field though not Sheed....Sheed is more of a long shot.
