Dude you were right on about the Knicks--I give you credit. I believed that we would be better off with Bargs from that 54 win team--but Ive been fooled by what I thought we would have compared to reality. Reality is we had a one year phenomonom based on having a bunch of older winning vets led by Jason Kidd who changed this team. I guess the first marker I shouldve seen was the resigning of JR Smith than the adding of his brother who DID not make this team by his play. Vet signings this year were similar to that of Brooklyn--guys who may have stepped over their peaks into the direction of career ending downslopes --you nailed it dude.

If Tyson was healthy I think minimally this team is at .500 and this post doesn't exist.

it just wasn't me, but guys like 3G and DK as well... Not that we wanted to be right about this team... but if you stepped outside of being a fan, you could see where things were headed.. the chris miss silly signing was one.. The lack of development with shumpert as well as the tension created by management... losing lin for nothing, and not addressing our rebounding and defensive needs on the front line... the silly bargnani trade....

last year, we got off to a hot but unsustainable start shooting from three point range.. then you had good play from JR smith, and jason kidd emptied his tank early playing like a knick MVP.. I stated this last year and folks got mad at me, because they thought it took credit from their favorite carmelo toy... but I said, kidd was our early season MVP..

we don't have that now, no kidd, no copeland, no hot three point shooting.. without that,we are a very ordinary team... take out chandler, and we are not good at all..

I hate it, I hate the situation we are in, but now is the time to do something about it..

I think you're wrong. We look like absolute garbage. Last year without Tyson we were fine.

The unfortunate thing is that Melo is the face of it and he's playing his ass off.

They were losing with Tyson too. They can't win at home.

All they have to do in the future after 20 games or so or midseason and you would say just the opposite. LOL

Because of what's going on behind the scenes, a lot of uncertainty makes guys who are uncertain about their future in NY play erratic. Lot of pressure to play in NY when your name maybe on the list.

i think they were 1-2 with Tyson, one of those losses was an unexpected decent effort against the Bulls.

He's probably counting the game where Tyson played 7 minutes and got injured, although that shouldn't really count.

not signing lin should've been the last straw.

the team dumps picks like they're going out of a style...then a young talent pg falls into your laps...the nba rules in your favor to keep him...and you simply let him walk. there is no hope for this organization.

going back to 2002, the knicks are a .500 and less team outside of 2.5 months last year.

this is a refreshing approach... giving props to posters who have demonstrated prescience based on a good understanding of the game... and human nature. other than being a bunch of mismatched parts the knicks lack morale and leadership.

thanks for being generous and not stingy!

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

This group of players just dont fit. First off we have so many players who cant/dont play defense( bargs, melo, felton, and amare. It also shows how much Tyson Chandler means tot his team. even with Chandler we struggle but without him and we are a bad team

I don't think it's fit honestly. Felton sucks. JR sucks. No one is playing D. We're turning the ball over. Woodson is forcing Amare into the lineup. And Dolan is presiding over everything. The organization is just ****ed.

I agree. Felton is what he is which is a backup on most teams. JR Smith like i said before had a career year last year and was playing for a contract. I knew he would regress this year and revert back to being a headcase. I think melo's shoulder is really messed up which is why his shotting is so inconsistent. Im not making excuses for melo but we all knew that scoring was hsi strength and i think the injury is limitung him
