The Knicks will trade Shumpert. with the Knicks trading Shumpert he is buying himself more time because a change is made for the sake of change. Knicks fans get excited for a while and away we go

what i dont get is why Woodson dosent put Shumpert on the top pg's? Felton cant keep up with any point guard.

This has been bothering me for two years now. Shumpert's greatest skill is his on the ball defense; to get full value for him he should be guarding the other team's main ball handler.

I understand last year, because of the 3 guard starting lineup and with shumpert playing his way back to regain his quickness, but this year?? You know felton is bad on D when a fringe NBA player in Shelvin Mack is killing him

Today has to be a new low for this forum. Another poster suggested that Shump was playing poorly to sabotage his trade value so that the Knicks couldn't get much for him. Now a poster is suggesting that a coach that is on the hot seat is sabotaging a players value. Shumpert has started every game and is averaging over 30 minutes a game. How is this sabotage occurring?

Maybe Shump is trying to sabotage Woodson's coaching career. Seems to be more logical based on his 30+ minutes a game and starting every game and playing like ish. But yeah it has to be woodson right?

Also, KMart says Woodson wants him to play and of course he does because he wants to win.
Kenyon Martin believes in the no-layup rule and the credo of thou shall not question the head coach. The former is self-explanatory but Martin felt the need to address the latter after it was reported that he was upset with head coach Mike Woodson over playing time.

“The entire thing is crazy because me and Woody are cool,” Martin said Saturday before Woodson played him for 17 minutes and he contributed six points and six rebounds in the Knicks’ 110-90 loss to the Hawks at the Garden. “Coach wants me to play. He knows who I am and how I can help the situation.”

Ha ha- at the time most fans did! This is nothing new, and as much as fans revise history and proclaim unadulterated love for Ewing and Starks, they spent most of the time calling them boneheaded, selfish, etc etc...

Yea i didn't word it properly and the fact that I was a few drinks I got the night impaired my thinking but I do realize Woodson is not the GM.
