1. Russ Smith G Louisville PG 6-0

2. Kyle Andersen PG/F UCLA 6-9

3. Shabazz Napier PG Uconn 6-0

4. Omar Oraby C USC 7-2

5. Jahii Carson PG Ast 5-9

6. C J Fair F 6-8 Syracuse

7. C Jordan Bachynski 7-2
Arizona St.

8. Tyler Haws SG 6-6 BYU

9 Kendall Williams PG 6-4 New Mexico

10 Johnny o'bryant PF 6-9 260 LSU
.

This is the initial list. I'll add to it as there are several really good prospects but to start this season this is anice 5 that are currently ranked in round 2 but have a chance to be great NBA players. My guess is we wont haev a 1st round pick--but there are so many good players in this draft--you can buy a couple of 2's and with good luck help your team in a big time way--Ive watched the draft for many many years--this is the best one 1-60 of all time.

maybe that is why we didn't use the 3m in trades this season so we can hopefully buy a pick or two
That was Grunwelds last move or lack of move for the better of the team

I was there too--about 6 seats over from that pretty nasty brawl in section 1. For the Knicks--we need to rebuild our PG position and C positions--that is an obvious. The laws of supply and demand will help us in this draft--there will be excellent players falling into round 2 and every year teams sell multiple 2's--this year if we do our homework--we can put some speed skill and defense back into the PG position and maybe find a C because there are more than a few next year. I think as the season goes along people are going to figure out about Oraby from USC and he will skyrocket.

haha, i saw that fight from my seats, was in the 200s.

couldn't agree more about PG and C. i wish we could somehow get a high enough selection to take someone like isiah austin - when he fills out i think he's gonna have a hell of a body.

i'm not very familiar with oraby.. is that the kid that transferred from rice?

I know you have to put Shabazz Napier up there because of the UConn thing, but his career says back up. Kyle Anderson is lucky if find a Boris Diaw type niche. Russ Smith and CJ Fair are OK, but I don't see greatness there. Just solid NBA types. Carson has the potential to be very good, but he's going to need show some improvement this season. Last season was kinda of weak when it came to point guards and Carson probably would have a better shot leaving then. This year is kinda stacked with PG talent.
Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

As a cuse fan, i can tell u cj fair is overatee

Carson and napier are great. Just wish thsy were taller

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

ehh CJ is pretty under rated. Not many 6-8 225 pd SF who are athletic and powerful like him who run the floor can handle shoot rebound. Hes superior to what we picked at 24 this year--to think you can possibly get a player like this at 40 + would be a coup. This is not C J leslie--a guy who was a pure college 4 who tried to transition to a 3--C J is a clear 3 with a great body NBA athletic ability hell be very good. Two skilled 7-2 C's who honestly both have a chance to be really good NBA players--neither of them ranked in the top 60--at 7-2?? Also watch Tyler Haws from BYU when you can this year--he's a throwback 2 G who has a really nice mid range game and good size for the position--all of these guys are really good players who have a chance to be really good NBA players--yet their barely ranked?? My post was kind of referring to--we can go out and buy a couple of 2's and have a great draft because its so loaded. We need a C and a PG and with the tax--we need them cheap. We have 91mm committed next year with five and up to 7 open roster spots.

CJ cant shoot consistently though...and hes rail thin...we'll see..hopefully he improves. i think jeremi grant on the cuse has a better Pro upside.

as always, i have no idea of who the BYU kid is youre talking about (LOL) but i trust youre judgement so ill watch out for him

It's easy to get late first round picks. Teams are always selling them. That's why I don't value them as high as many here. They are easy to get back if you want them.

Like Andersen, Napier and Fair the most off that list -- but I would think if lots of round 2 talent those picks will be harder to come by.

We have a pick. The Nuggets just have the right to trade with us.

But they're sucking too and it looks like Shaw is pulling an MDA and trying to slow it down on a team that's built for speed.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong cuz I'm not 100%

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Jahii Carson last night dropped 40 and 7 dimes--hes going to be an NBA superstar his 7-2 running mate Jordan Bachynski ha 17-`15-4
7and has all star NBA type talent and size. 7-2 Omar Oraby last night 15-9 -6 block looks to be a quality secondary big man with nba skills who can get better with time and work.

These guys are all listed in rd 2.

Anyone see Marcus Smart last night--how many franchise players are in this draft?

I know I sound like a homer, but St. John's actually has some major talent on their roster.

Jakarr Sampson is an athletic freak and was Big East Rookie of the year last season. He's raw, and doesn't show a very high IQ at times, but if he has a big season, I wouldn't be surprised if he declares for the draft.

Chris Obekpa led the nation in blocked shots last season with 133. That's 4 per game. Right now, he's a project on offense. But, I think he could be a defensive specialist in the NBA.

Both of those guys on Ast are going to be NBA all stars Jordan B isnt even labeled in the top 60 but both will end up top 15 picks easy. This the best draft since the dominique isiah draft and full depth into the 2nd round.
