I remember you used to talk about basketball. Then it seems Melo ran your cat over or something and those days are long gone. Now you just regurgitate arguements you made against the trade 3 years ago. Guy finishes 3rd in the MVP voting combining the total votes Kobe and CP3 got together and you said he had an 'ok' year and its no difference if you finish 3rd or 13th.So its not about basketball... its about Melo hate and now you just romanticize fighting the good fight on the internet against what Im sure you view as Melo's gestapo, but you havent watched any or talked any real basketball for a couple years. Too bad also.
I guess playa is short on school shootings to blame on the central govs secret assassins who kill so our population remains fearful and in favor of a big government run by the smoking guy from the XFiles.
In other news JR Smith picked up right where he left off.
I do talk basketball, go look at the other threads people don't participate in. .I do.. but what happens is that posters take my disgust with the team and they, you guys focus it on carmelo.. that is not my problem..
carmelo is part of the knicks.. I think he is a big part of the reason we are in this mess.. he and dolan, so I am not sure what you expect...

what does that matter fish? how has that helped us? how is that helping us now?
what does it matter? It shows we have one player with value. One who despite being surrounded with very shoddy talent has produced, and the production translated into a winning team. It matters because when you look to build and evaluate you look at what works and doesnt, and this one player we have worked quite well. But you are utterly blind to that, and the value is more than just some posters opinion... the folks who vote for that award said Melo was the 3rd most valuable player in the league last year and its pretty easy to see why they voted that way (easy for some).
I have very litle interest in addressing you directly at this point. I didnt like the trade and I am very open about Melo's faults and shortcomings as a player. I also watch the games and Melo had a monster year and his stats were meaningful because they were backed by wins. Im really sorry that because I actually watched and acknowledged what happen that I have fallen out of your favor as a poster. I havent joined Melo's minions. I just call it like it see it. I still dont love Melo, he's delivered very little since coming here, but 54 wins and a division title is something, and that didnt come from good coaching, great role players or anything besides Melo dropping 30 a night and giving us a chance night in and night out. It must have been a terrible season for you. Luckily for you, since you cant use the Knuggets as your measuring stick the Knicks are playing poor.
The Knicks have problems because they are run very poorly. However last I checked Melo didnt resign the Smith brothers or trade the Knicks draft picks or kick Amare in the knee or force Chandler to forget he's as good as Roy Hibbert. However Im sure with advanced stats you and Tomverve and he did.
