This would have been the perfect year to get a high draft pick. We are so screwed.

Or any draft pick for that matter. You don't have to be bad to get a player in the draft that significantly improves your team (see the Spurs picking Tony Parker 28th in a weak draft and Manu Ginobli 54th in the draft).
