Yeah, Melo, get that modicum of conscience out of your head before it just might take root!
I was at the game on Sunday, and let me tell you, passing was not Melo's problem. He just plain stunk through 3 quarters. Seriously, if you're gonna blame passing for your miserable performance just GTFOOH with that. You selfish little bastard.
And for those counting, all that claimed selflessness accounted for a grand total of 3, count 'em, 3 assists. Sucker. I'm done with this guy.
THIS IS WHY MELO IS NOT A SUPER STAR. If you are having these problems as an NBA player, then you're not ready for a Batman role....You are clearly Robin who plays better under a lead dog. Why you think Melo broke the 3pt stat and shooting percentage on the Olympic team? Because thats the role that fits his skill set. You guys don't want to hear this, but he would play better if he was in Bosh shoes, surrounded by Lebron and Wade. Sure anybody would play better, but Melo would probably break all kind of percentage and stat numbers.
When he has to be that lead superstar player, his game is reduced drastically, because it only highlights his flaws. Which is simple, he doesn't impact the game of basketball, if his shot isn't falling. And thats terrible for an NBA star. I've played with guys like this all the time....when they are not hitting, they are usless.....When they are on, they can win games for you. Thats not NY basetball.....We need our superstars to not be one trick ponys. And Melo only has one trick, and thats not changing anytime soon. Melo needs to pay cut, so we can get a real superstar with does more than just score buckets.
