Scoreboard video hype, sound effects, drummers and cheerleaders with lights.

Dump it all. Especially the dancing girls on the court up to the opening tip. Bush league stuff.

Announce the names as John Condon would and get back to business.

Play ball.

No way man!

The Knick City Dancers was the one bright spot I'd look for during the Layden-Isiah years.

ChuckBuck - The Knicks City Dancers are not what people pay hundreds of dollars to see. The Answer Man enjoys eye candy as much as the average bear, but eye candy does not defend, rebound or hit the open man.

Dolan has over-layered the home product with too many bells and whistles. They are distractions.

Play basketball.

Brooklyn Nets don't have those things that's the only marketing competition in town.

When we recognize who the owner is and what he demands from his marketing guru, we will understand all the hype presentation of MSG.....it is the self proclaimed "THE WORLDS MOST FAMOUS ARENA".

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Blame The Backcourt

Start I Man Shumpert and Tim Hardaway Jr in the backcourt and leave them there for the next three years. They bring size, athleticism, intuitive feel for the game, passion and competitive fire.

If JR Smith wants the job, dare him to earn it by building on his excellent regular season.

Any flaws these three have, (ball security/ shot selection) can be corrected with reps and trust.

Madison Square Garden has become an over-amped parody of Radio City Music Hall.

Bring on the freakin' Rockettes.

The Answer Man got no time for dancing girls tossing hair on the court immediately before the opening tip, while players are taking the floor.

Sheesh.

The Mecca going to have pyrotechnics soon enough. When the games don't make enough noise, explosions do.

This will get the fans used to loud noises when Playa's police state takes over.

Then the games will be "for the people"!!!

Actually you are right I applaud Dolan for expressing his anger towards the players and the disgrace they have inhibited so far. Dolan overpays each and everyone of them and should get in their faces. Ala George Steinbrenner

By golly, and here I thought we won one, lost one by one, and then we cut the lead to 2 towards the very end of this last contest! Is the product on the court really all that bad after 3 whole games? I guess some miss the good old days of 30 point blowouts, huh?

Agreed though, the dancing ho's really need to go. Mrs. jrod don't appreciate the game highlights with the ho-hos in them right at the start. Sets the wrong tone.

Ol' Red was right. The Celticks got dancers over his dead body.

Iman is a terrible passer and floor general. No thanks. I love the guy, but a PG he ain't.

Know what the halftime entertainment was in Boston Garden during most of those championship years?

Two old guys with push brooms.

Then they rolled out the ball racks.

All those banners made for really good, true entertainment. About time the stupid mofos up there gave Bill Russell some sort of memorial.

What the effing hell would this board be like if we ever won 11 chips in 13 years? Almost scary to even think about.

Havlicek ran a full court sprint after he made a layup in warmups

jrodmc - the first time I walked into The Boston Garden in 1975, my eyes were riveted on the championship banners in the ceiling.

Cut the nonsense in MSG.

Only one squad at MSG consistently showed professionalism and excellence on the court for more than a decade. It sure as hell wasn't our beloved Knicks. Getting rid of the city dancers is just a bad an idea as all the players dressing in black for an ass kicking. More empty symbolism.
