They are fans so they will try and get in the heads of the opposing players and mess with them as much as possible. I understand what you mean but Kidd put himself in this situation.

I agree. But it's there's no way you can make any judgment based on media reports. Unless you were there, you don't know what went on.

There are lots of reasons you'd hit a woman. There are lots of scenarios that would lead you to even hit your wife. Most are farfetched, and require a bit of imagination, but again, we don't know what went on that night.

I feel you. I think it's accurate to say that there are very few good reasons to hit a woman, or anyone for that matter.

But as for the police, you don't even have to suffer bruises to get your husband arrested in almost all jurisdictions. I'm a law student in clinical criminal practice (in law school, they let certain students practice as attorney's for the indigent, but we can only defend misdemeanors like Domestic Violence cases) and I've had several cases where the complaining witness calls the police, reports being hit by her husband and they haul him off to jail, and the judge issues a full protection order. The system has very little tolerence. No one wants to have not locked a guy up and have him kill his wife the next day.

But your boy J Kidd is more of a loser 'cause he knows what little margin for error he has being a high-profile star athlete. That little fit of rage or whatever certainly cost him millions in endorsements. Ask Kobe if that piece of ass was worth the money and damage to his rep...

Still...Boston is the town that would chant something like that - NY should have chanted Fugazi or something relevent to this series. JKidd is a great player and he made a monumentally stupid mistake. But if he hadn't - we may never have had Steph on our team.

Look at his mug shot, have a laugh, and forget about it - we have more important things to focus on - for example, getting another player on this team who can bring the Knicks to the next level.

I agree chanting "Wife Beater" is classless. And you know it has nothing to do with how you feel about J Kidd and his wife and everything to do with who he plays for. If he played for the Knicks you'd forgive him that and more.

I hate it when opposing fans go over the line - so I have to hate it when it's Knick fans also.
