I remember BRIGGS mentioned nate wolters. He got extended minutes last night and held his own. He'll never be a star but he will play a long time. I'm still happy with the Hardaway pick though
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

It looks like he still needs to figure out to score when he drives to the basket. Does he develop a floater like Tony Parker or settle for midrance Js like Luke Ridnour? He didn't look outclassed in terms of the speed of the game, but he could add some weight. He looks like he could be a solid backup, but I'm not sure he offers anything different from the guards Milwaukee already has ahead of him on the depth chart. But he played aight considering the circumstances.

Those were layups for him last year. Hell be a solid player. You could see him gain some confidence. One floater he made--thats the model hell have to use. He did not account for the 7 footer helping on a few of those blocks. Hes a guy who will have to hit his open three---pass first than try to use the 6-5 frame to get shots off using body separation--he ll need more power for that. he needs to be 215 or so--and go through a year of pro strength training. I kind of expect him to spend half the year in the D league getting used to a faster bigger game but he should have a very decent NBA carrer for himself.

I think he'll be decent. What I noticed last night -- he's really not that shifty. Kinda telegraphs his intentions a little -- you could tell when he was in pass mode and then when he put his head down and was gonna drive to the rim. I think chandler picked up on that right away and it made it easy for him to block his shot a couple of times. This guy's not overly quick -- he needs to throw a little bit more variety at his defenders -- hesitation moves, jab steps, maybe a pump fake before the shot attempt at the end of drives, etc... I think that would help him. Looked a little too predictable last night at times...He was thrust into a tight spot though and did fine considering. Looks like he could be a good shooter..

I admit after all of Briggs posts about this guy I watched him pretty close and was impressed. I'm sure he was feeling some jitters having to unexpectedly come into his first game in MSG of all places.

He's not fast, but he seems very crafty and willing to try and attack the defense. He has a very good handle and looks like he could have a floater in there somewhere. Still, his shot looks suspect to me, but he keeps his dribble kinda like Nash and always has his head up so I could see him becoming a nice player. It was a good scouting report, Briggs.

This kid is going to be very good. He is aggressive and he has the speed to get to the rim. Once he gets acclimated to NBA speed he is going to explode.

Looked like a poor mans Luke Ridnour last night. Zero explosion, couldn't turn the corner on any screens. That's a major problem for an nba pg.

He looked smaller than 6'5" out there to me. If I had to guess I would've said 6'2" 6'3".

i dunno he looks sneaky quick to me. not a blur but not molasses either. crafty perhaps too. he may be an upgrade over udrih.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I wish we could have gotten Wolters but Woody wants vets. I still take Wolters over Beno. Look what they gave up to get him. (Not bad actually for pick 38)
In exchange for the draft rights to Wolters, the Bucks sent the draft rights to Ricky Ledo, the 43rd overall pick in the draft, and a future second round pick to the Sixers.

Last night, kids 2nd game (win) he put this up:
29 mins, 5-10 FG, 1-2 3pt, 3-3 FT, 2Rb, 6 assists, 1TO, 1PF

Honestly, I'd have him as our 2nd PG off the bench, definitely before Beno.

He was the main reason they won yesterday. 14 pts 6 assist no TOs in 2nd game He was +23.. Give him time He has a lot of Steve Nash traits. He might not be the fastest guy but hes fast enough like Nash--actually hes ahead of nash--nash could barely get off the bench. I like the way he plays hes got a tight dribble and he keeps his head up probing for open man--but is willing to try to score if it snot there. Hell need to adjust that floater for teas with big C and hes smart enough to figure it out.

10 assists last night (in a loss). Didn't shoot much at all. He was such a great scorer in college, taking only 7 shots is mind boggling.
