It seems like they changed the contols just to add "flashy passes". Why they would ruin the controls for something that you don't even need is not apparent to me.
what did they change?
Now you can only shoot with the pro stick, so you dribble and shoot with the same stick. Like to do a spin shot you make a circle with right stick and hold it in place until you're ready to release the shot. It takes getting used to. They also got rid of automatic hop steps, you actually have to
have a clear path to hop step now and it's not something you can directly control. The only time you can shoot with x is for catch and shoots and dunks really.
sounds like an improvement, do you think it will be better once you get used to it?
I kind of like it, the lay-up animations are incredible, very realistic. It's just harder to string together dribble moves and to create space for a shot now. They changed the moves so for instance you can no longer cross the ball behind your back while sprinting and you can only in n' out when jogging as well. I'd say the biggest improvement is definitely the animations, they look like real moves. The jab stepping actually confuses AI defenders in this one so I'm sure Melo likes that feature
. Obviously Lebron is just unfair, makes nearly every lay-up he attempts. However, you can block dunks in this one, not that the game will ever let you block Mr. 99 overall King James.
