How much do you want to bet that once Detroit starts pounding the Nets they are going to start blaming it on the injuries to Kidd and Kmart when we all know by watching them run on the Knicks all game long that they are not injured.

I think the Nets will beat Detroit in 6 gamesbarring injuries of course.

I'd not bet anything on that. Detroit will slow them down in halfcourt war, in which they excel.

Layups and dunks on KT is way much easier than on the wallace brothers.

Never forget that a good team (read nets) always looks great when matched again a scrub team (read knicks).

one mor thing, they're coached by brown. that alone equals to troubles for the nets. He'll find something, quicksand them, and pound them downlow. He'll adjust quicker than lenny to Fran's tricks.

Make no mistake, they're good but they won't last long.

That's not saying much. It isn't very apparent that Lenny has even reacted to Frank's tricks!

Plus Detroit has Hamilton and Prince, just figured I'd say that. I don't think the Knicks would've beat the Nets with Thomas and Houston, but I think it would've gone 6 or 7 games.

Detroit is really really really good. Billups is fantastic, I don't think I've ever seen Hamilton miss a mid-range J, Prince does everything, and if KMart thinks hes the real deal I can't wait till he gets the works from the Wallace Brothers.

Detroit has a great bench too.

I'd love to see a DET/IND ECF. I think either one of those teams could win a championship.

Couldn't agree more with Guns, they will lose to Detroit and all of a sudden blame it on injuries. Go Pistons!
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Of course, the Pistons almost managed to sneak out with the victory. They don't give up until the end unlike the Knicks who sometimes give up before the game starts.
