The Nets are picking us apart becasue they are playoff tested, have solid leadership, a coach they believe in, and the players know their roles.

That is a function of time and a core of players growing together.

The Knicks are still a collection of talent, but not yet a team.

Kidd is showing his greatness and I hope Marbs is learing a very important lesson of what it takes to get to the next level. I think kidd will knock the punk right out of Stepth and Isiah will teach him its not about attitude or words, or even superior skills, its knowing how to lead, how apply skills at the right time and place in the game to make the teamates better, and take over a game at times.

The knicks talk tough, but have little identity to apply what is it they do. We are not a good defensive team yet, not a running team, not a shooting team, not a ball handleing team, not a passing team, etc. I just don't see what kind of team we have. It will happen over time.

Lenny might be doing a good job, but the players don't know and trust each other yet, and perhaps are just unable to execute things yet.

Its frustrating to watch, but The Nets are a very good team, and a very good playoff team. Making the finals twice is not easy.

Even if we don't make any big changes next year, we will be a better team just getting them unified thru the summer, and in camp.

i dont see that. we have way to many older guys right now that we are relying on--can anyone guarantee H2O will ever play at his level again? NO that we rely on 33 year old shot knee penny hardaway? or that 44 year old deke is now talking like he will be shaq? marbury will be 28 next year and his wheels are getting old quick--get better?>maybe we will get better but we are older and not even in detroit NJ or Indiana's league and they are much younger signed long term and will only get better. if we were in the west, we would be in a better position going forward because by the time we get to the point where we have everything ready to go in 3-5 years[hopefully]western teams willl have aged and the balance of power will be east.


winning 39 games in this division after spending 100mm and getting blown out in 4-5 games is not a succesful season. it's the equivilant of a swimmer in trouble who was able to get to the surface for air only to be dragged right back down

sorry this team is rag tag with no identity and a great deal of money spent. better hope demarr johnson puts on 25 pounds of rock mike s loses 25 pounds of girth and they both take daily tony robbins courses.
