Jefferson leaves the bench clearly when he is not in the game. Automatic suspension a few years ago, no questions asked, no need for interpretation. The Knicks almost lost the Heat series due to this. Now Stu Jackson, who used to work under Rod Thorn when Thorn was doling out the punishment, allows interpretation to enter the equation and says there was no altercation and so there is no suspension. I guess he owed Rod a favor.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.
