Hardly- Knicks organization doesn't seem to like it's players playing in international events. Have you never pulled a sickie to get out of something? Not exactly a conspiracy!

So it can't just be reported that the Knicks are holding Bargs out for health/injury prevention reasons? We need pneumonia?

Just saves him a PR hit with his countrymen. I still don't get how an athlete in his 20s gets pneumonia while relaxing in Italy in summer.

i knew it was bogus from day one,

i haven't been sick since 1994, how can a pro athlete in his 20s get pneumonia in the summer?? this is an old disease, from the 1400s probably or earlier
