This is Stu Jackson's doing. Does he ever tire of sticking it to his former employer?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I think he did the right thing. Jefferson wasn't even close to the being off the bench. But if you saw Artest the cat sprinted on to the court as if to get into someones face and quickly realized that his assistants were yelling at him to get back and sprinted back to the bench. His intentions were to get involved. RJ's weren't the same intention and he barely got off the bench. Beside one thing I don't want is a bull**** series like the Miami-NYK series in 97.

how about Ewing(our Franchise)? He had no bad intentions either. He was only walking onto the court inoncently.

Maybe this is payback for Isiah signing Vin Baker and the arbitrator ruling that the Celts owe Baker 16 million. That was a significant blow to the owners and GMs in the league who were hoping a precedent could be set in the Baker decision.

Knicks gain because Celtics wrongfully terminate Baker.
Celts suffer because they must still pay half his salary.

Celtics gain because Artest is suspended.
Knicks suffer because Jefferson isn't.

The league is playing games with us.

Unfortunately he walked to far from the bench. Besides that was another season and the Knicks were a threat to the Bulls and you know that the NBA had its orders to make sure Jordan got the easy road.

I was hoping both Jefferson and Artest would get suspended. Ewing's enrty onto the court was just as inconsequential as Jefferson's.

If you recall I think at that time Rod Thorn was handing out the suspensions.

The NBA hates the Knicks, I already got used to it. The refs hate us, the league office hates us, its always NY against the world. The players in orange and white better get used to it. If they don't they don't belong here. I was suprised they did not suspend FW. I fully expected the Knicks to get screwed even more by the ***** league. Its all fixed anyways. They can't have NY in the finals cause that's bad for ratings since everybody gets jelous of NY and does not watch. I'm pretty sure they want the Nets to go there again and win this time so the pathetic no fanbase franchise might get another chance at stayin alive.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

The NBA does not hate the Knicks, man. That conspiratorial nonsense is not what made us lose by damn-near thirty points in a play off game to New Jersey.

The Knicks used to play a style of ball that was effective in the win-loss column, but detrimental to the league, according to Stern. They made changes that hurt our chances at a Championship. Nothing personal. But it's up to the franchises to adjust. The rest of the league has. It's about time we stop speaking about Charles Oakley like he's been beatified.

Hopefully I. Thomas can figure this out. But when the largest media market in the entire world isn't caring about the NBA because of how sucky their team is, the NBA hurts. It hurts bad. As Boston, NY and LA go, so go the fortunes of the league.

So the league wants NY to win championships, probably more than any other city. The Yankees are one of the few stories (non-steroid related) worth following in the MLB. Ya think Stern doesn't want that kind of press? He'd sell his left 'nut to have NY win 3, 4 years in a row.

We don't win Championships because doing so in this high-pressure environment poses unique challenges, and therefore requires innovative leadership (read: Steinbrenner). Not because of some X-files anti-knick conspiracy.

Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

The reason Steinbrenner can do what he does is there is no cap.
He can spend all he wants and hire whoever wants to play for the team.
The way it should be.
This socialist bullcrap has got to stop.. but it won't..
The fact that we can't pursue big time free agents really hurts us.
