still a lot of names out there, and the Knicks could still make a trade....but all signs point to the Knicks staying put with what they have and signing Murry and Tyler and staying put the rest of the way...

it was a nice try trying to throw dirt on Shump....it didn't work. What the hell else is there to talk about now besides the Alba draft?

Isiah is unemployed!!!

I think August is when front office takes some vacation. Draft is done and most free agents are done or near signing for the bigger money.

Its going to be quiet thru labor day.

NFL been quiet. Usually players in the month before training camp get their domestic batteries in, DUI's, few gun charges, etc. Hernandez been the biggie so far.

Baseball is boring. I don't follow it anymore and don't know half the allstar teams. Had no idea who the Home Run Derby champ was before he won.

I follow the Yanks, thats about it. Only care about playoffs.

Preseason NFL is worthless.

Yeah usually it is quiet thru August. Might be a couple rumors here and there but nothing crazy. Might be time for a vacation! August is definitely the quietest month of the year.

yesterday was my birthday...

I saw that play with Cicely Tyson, Vanessa Willaims and Cuba Gooding Jr.....it was pretty good. Very sweet. Cicely was fantastic. Glad I got to see her. She's old as hell.

Heya gang, haven't posted in some time. I moved back to Russia after 19 years in the US( moved to the States when I was 14). I wasn't sure if I would keep following the Knicks but yet, here I am in the dog days of the summer, cathing up. So happy we got Bargniani( sup dj , its never too late to come back ! ) Now we got that 1-2 punch and JR can finally be the 3-4th option. Felton is about to have a breakout season imho. World Peace is going to provide exactly what we were missing last year. We should punch Indi and Chicago out, figuratively speaking. Miami don't want none of this and the Nets should provide an adequate sparring partner.

Sucks not to be able to come to pick up games or get-togethers :( I wish everyone here and the Knicks to reach our goals, I'll be lurking, hehe

And happy B-day Eny!!

I hate this point of the basketball year! Seems so long until training camp. Still, gives me more time to enjoy the sun, do some backpacking without having to worry about missing games, and watch every episode of the Shield again...

Looking like Bobby Brown, Tyler and Murry. Not sure if that leaves us a bit short on veteran defensive bigs.

I always look forward to preseason NFL... and once the first game begins I lose interest almost immediately.
