So we need two more vet signings? One big man--as in Kenyon Martin or Tyrus Thomas and a small like Aaron Brooks who can also play some SG?
I'd go Tyler over Jennings on the roster -- just because center size seems like more of a need.
For big men I'd rank them Dalembert/Thomas/KMART in that order. I'm not a Brooks fan & Felton will play some SG like last year. My pg preference starts with Nate...then after that maybe Telfair (I think Bassy is more solid with getting ball to right people without turnovers and defending).
Not sure if all or any of these guys bite on the minimum but I do think some will have to settle.
Maybe also add a veteran shooter (Raja) --- when I look at that roster I think perimeter shooting is our achilles heel. Also -
I think Jennings so far as earned it. Its also 4-5 insurance for Amare for cheap. I think with Murry the need for a 3rd PG is down or even out. I think the two vets --one needs to score can be a 1-2 like Brooks and the other Kenyon??? Thomas???? a bigger guy???? but thats the blueprint I guess.
Really don't wanna see Tyler go anywhere just based on the fact that I could see him eventually becoming very valuable.
Other than the money aspect, remembering Nate body slamming JR into the front row is just another reason I don't see him fitting here. They "may" be professionals, but some guys don't forget that stuff and he might be just one more big personality that's not needed on a team w/ many.

I think Tyler makes for a nice 3rd C and I would hope the Knicks grab a perimter guy or PG with the final spot. Personally, I am not an Aaron Brooks fan. Udrih would be nice, but not sure it's realistic. I'd take Telfair and be happy.
