Hardaway knows how to attack the basket nicely

Shumpert is CLEARLY NOT A POINT GUARD, doesn't have the vision, second guesses his passes

Eloy Vargas is this years Copeland, not much of a defensive player, but knows how to score in different ways

Jeremy tyler is very athletic, has some nice moves. Scratch that , the guy is a beast among boys. Just needs a soft touch

And chris smith still sux

This is my take thru 3 qts

Hardaway JR looks good we just have to see if he will be consistent, shumpert is not a PG he is a 2 or a 3

You would think they would be remember he was not a PG during his rookie year. Somehow our front office forgets crucial information like this. Instead of playing him at 2 and having him work on his OFF game we have him wasting his time playing PG.

Shumpert is STRICTLY a SG, too small for SF.
I like tyler 's aggresiveness

Man you guys are crazy about Shump. You think he's gonna pick it up perfectly right off the jump? He's had plenty of good plays today. More than his bad plays. He doesn't have to look like a pure point. He has to get comfortable enough to do it for stretches, which I believe he'll eventually be able to do. It's just ridiculous how over the top people get with this.

Tyler has nice moves, gotta concentrate on finishing. Vargas has been surprisingly good with a nice jumper. Toure Murry is a nice defensive PG. THJ and CJ have looked good.

Love this Murry kid. He's slick and aggressive on D.

KNicks playing the future with Shump, THJ and CJ.

Hardaway needs to drive to teh rim a little bit more he seems to settle for the 3 too much

How did cj do?
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Yeah Shumpert is an Iguodala type, a 2/3 (mainly 2) who can play some point forward/wing.

Mcmorrow is very sloppy.
Cj is playing decent, needs to call for the ball more.

Hardaway has bad shot selection

THJ getting 3 happy. He definitely could've drove on a couple of his 3's.

Knicks have some nice lookin bigs in SL. Tyler, Vargas and McMorrow are worth developiing. McMorrow looks like he could bang right now. Tyler still a bit raw. Vargas looks highly skilled. His jumper is wet.

I wouldn't say THJ took bad shots. I saw one that he shouldn't have put up at all. He was wide open and missed 2, but he could've drove on those very same shots.

SHump had some good plays and some bad, but overall I think he will eventually be much better running point.

CJ has talent, but needs to be a bit more aggressive.

Toure Murry looks pretty good as a defensive PG with a slick game, speed and finish around the basket.

Tyler is still a bit raw but you can see he has talent.

Vargas surprised me with his jumper.

McMorrow is HUGE and ready to bang. I'd consider him just off his raw size alone. GEEZ!

Tyler, vargas, mcmorrow
In that order

If chris smith, makes the team. The knicks are finished. The guy is lost out there
Shump should publically, in the media, say "I do not want to be a PG"

Agree with everything except Shump at the point, would rather we signed someone to fill that role and Shump worked on his game.

WHY do people keep saying that? You guys are giving the impression Shump looked horrible when he didn't. Shump had some good plays today and he didn't have a problem bringing the ball up and running the play, directing players. He's not a PG, but he can get better and this is a step in that direction. He'll get better the more he does it and he wasn't that bad today. People are judging him as you would a pure PG rather than a SG/SF who can run point.

Nobody is bashing Shumpert we all love Shumpert. However they have him playing out of position. He is a 2G or SF he isnt a Point guard. It isnt his fault its the coaches that are putting him in that position

The Knicks will no doubt add another PG, but Shump is gonna have a bigger role in the rotation and it would be a big plus to have him improve his decision making and ball handling. You don't do that by not playing the point. You make him do it and get reps at game speed so he can get more comfortable. Then if he has the ball during the season he won't be scared to make a play.

Shump doesn't have to be a pure point. He needs to get good enough to be more of an asset with the ball in his hands. Someone who can make a play for others and keep the flow of the game going. It's a very smart thing to do with a guard you want to play major minutes for your team.
