I'm over THE DECISION, lebron dint pick us, life went on

But I feel like we make the SAME MISTAKES.. and while the league moves forward, we dont even stay stagnant, we recede

Grunwald hasnt done S#!t... We brought back slow mo priggs and USED HALF THE MLE
and guys like Darren collison whos yrs younger and light years faster signer for the same amount

I'm pretty damn sure we outbid ourselves for jr....but whatever, it doesnt count against the cap
Im sure the bargs deal, couldve gotten done with 1 less pick thrown in

Guys like dorell wright, who play MULTIPLE positions, and can shoot and facilitate sign elsewhere for close to nothing
Matt barnes is off the board

But WE ARE DEFINITELY INTERESTED in guys like jamaal tinsley, who are shells of what they once were
Ron Artest who is not a lockdown defender anymore, and i can see him bumping heads with melo, or in a shoot out in queens

So now we have 1 and a half pg's
4 shooting guards, 1 of which was getting manhandled by Raja bell, who is by no means a premier player nor ever was
A center who has NO POST MOVES
A PF who will play 10-20 mins a night, and never back to backs

This Offseason, we haven't made any signings that will make us better

JR was playing for a contract and still managed to F that up

AND DONT FORGET MELO'S SHOULDER, OUR MEDICAL STAFF IS A JOKE
I expect him to have some kind of tear, or midseason re-aggravation of the injury

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Same, I will continue to root for the Knick's but with Dolan here, it just seems impossible with the decisions he forces the GM to make, and willingness to overpay for talent

Been doing this a long time, off season rants are always fun to read! Im sure I have written my share from time to time.

IM not sure what else Grunny could have done to get us excited about the future?

Medical staff a joke? Not sure how one can measure this. Dice? Medican advances and the lovely Dr Calahan has made big changes. Amare? WE were forewarned. Camby and other old guys? They break. Its why you get them at discount.

I think Tyson has held up well given his league history. Melo's shoulder? Its why he'll extend if its bothersome.

Bargs can be a great addition. The future? Expect more riding the bi-polar coaster in the starphuch era.

I think 2010 was our best shot at hope. I really belived that we had a good chance to get Lebron and it would have make the previous 10 years of misery not as bad anymore. I agree the Knicks organization always makes the same mistakes. I have noticed that the knicks ALWAYS overpay for older or one dimensional players. I mean givng Amare a max contract for 5 years was a bad idea but an even worse decision was using the amnesty buyout on a expiring contract instead of amare's contract. Tyson was alos an overpayment especially since he has zero offensive skills and even his defense has lapses at key times. Moves like the Camby and Bargnani deal also make me scartch my head. I mean The raptors were begging any team to take Bargnani off their hands and we not only do that but we give up a good number of picks once again

I think the Bargs trade will turn out to be win for the Knicks. I am also worried about Melo's shoulder. If the plan is for him to play the four my guess is he would be lifting and building himself up or recovering. If he is lifting there is a chance the tear becomes worse. If he is recovering there is the chance he comes in behind in his conditioning.

To be fair Bargnani has a A LOT to prove. Right now its up in the air when it comes to that deal. I mean when even Raptor fans are thanking us for taking Bargs thats not a good sign

Can we safely assume that he out performs Camby and Novak and the 59th pick in next years draft?

I guess you think im picking on bargnani but im just trying to be objective. As a diehard Knicks fan i hope he finally lives up o his potential but you can understand why im not jumping up and down for his arrival. I mean he needs to stay helathy and he needs to show better efforts.

No. I don't see it but I know others feel as you do and are outspoken about it.

I also didnt like giving up first round pick. yes i understand that draft picks are unpredictable but i dont like that we do it so much. In regards to Bargnani i watched him a lot and i understand why fans arent in love with him. I mea his a 7 footer but he plays smaller and is soft on defense and the boards. Also his injuries concern me
