I was just checking out the boxscore for the Miami-Minnesota game and was surprised to see that Stepania - who may still be on the payroll for the Knicks - was the starting center for Miami. 31 minutes, 11 points and 12 rebounds. Not too bad.

He had another night like that last week, putting up 19pts, 12rbs, and 7blks or something like that. We probably should of held onto him, but too late now.

Considering that both Grant and Zo went down and Gatling isn't exactly a rebounding machine, he could get the wide open misses and get 12 rebs easily. Consistantly doing that with Zo and Grant in is a whole different story.
I don't think we are still paying him but with the Knicks you never know.
We are paying for Vernon Maxwell, Luc Longley, Larry Johnson and Frederic Weis. Mad Max and "the guy vince carter used as a ladder" will be gone after this season from our payroll. Grandma's and LL's contract end in the season 03-04.
