With what money? Brand and KMart are already priced out, Cope will get more than the paltry some we have left. Hope we do get a decent backup PG with it. We are 1.5 deep at PG. our perimeter defense will be good with Shumpert and JR, our interior defense will be non existent unless we get a rebounder/shot blocker. Signing JR unfortunately makes Shumpert expendable, if we keep both then the draft pick makes even less sense than it did before.

I know chances of brand and KMart taking vet mins are low. I can still hope until they fully turn us down though. I am totally down with trading Tyson like you stated. The thing with trading Tyson is you MUST get back a good center. I can't take the Knicks playing without a center again. Tyson seems to always get sick during playoff time and stink up the joint. Even though that is the case I rather that than going with no center at all. I am hoping his reputation wins over what he actually is and nets us a good center while also helping us upgrade other areas.

I disagree with you on the Shump, JR and Hardaway logjam. I like having all 3. Shump can not play big minutes. Remember he gets those cramps at the end of the game whenever he plays big minutes. Those were not an issue mostly this year due to his limit on minutes since his knee injury. When he played huge minutes in that last bobcats game it came back. JR goes on his, I can't hit the Great wall of china with a rock shooting streaks. During these times Pablo and Hardaway will take his minutes.
