Pablo Prigioni's agent says he will return to the #Knicks.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

He probably can't wait to play with Barganni too in the PNR

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Pablo Prigioni is returning to the Knicks on a three-year deal. The first two are fully guaranteed.

Prigioni's deal is 3 yrs, 3rd year is team option. Starts at around 1.5 million. Can increase to 2 million based on incentives. #Knicks

would much rather have a vet min player than play a PG that cannot stay in front of PG's and is not a threat to penetrate
With all the holes we have and needs to be filled, why use the MLE on a 36 year old 2nd "rook"

was hoping Grunweld was just using the media like Houston/Morey did last summer
By letting teams offer an amount to Copeland that in fact the Knick's could match
I believe he would have good value had we decided to keep him, as a future assets

Because it didn't make much sense
the vet min is right under 1m to begin with and originally Pablo's contract starts at $1,150,000
And the Knick's could offer a 2 year deal in which was the original offer, it really wasn't much of a difference

but at 1.5m, it would be unlikely as smoke
The only other possible scenario would be to trade Tyson Chandler for a large trade exemption

If it just about money, just make a show like they did for JR Smith, Melo, Iman, in MSG and sign him to vet min while keeping the MLE

If Calderon ends up signing somewhere for the MLE I'm going to riot.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

You will not find a more professional, team oriented guy than Pablo Prigioni. Incredible value at that money. (And, technically Italian)

What's not to like about this? Great guy, and smart- we always seemed to play better with him on the court. Please tell me of a better backup PG at less than $2mil per season.

3 why not 5 he will be only 41. Awesome that we had to use the exception as well.We still need a back up PG but at least the 3rd 1 is worked out

I love pablo's game. Just need to shoot open layups. If we can get WIll Bynum the guard spots are done. We need a guard that can constantly break down the D. Without that we will be the same as last year, a team that relies on the 3 ball.

Love Pa lo but what exactly is he going to give us at 39? Kidd is a hall of famer and was done at that age

Why do you say that?
If it does happen though I hope that it works out better than that year D'antoni had him do it.

I have no qualms with bringing Prigs back. I'm not totally in love with the guy but I thought he endured and played well when givin the chance. He's deserving of this free market as any other role player and/or scrubs that are getting paid crazy money.

I wouldn't mind Pablo back -- just not as the primary backup PG to Felton. I feel he should be the 3rd PG behind Ray and someone else (someone younger and much more explosive, capable of pushing the ball, penetrating and playing uptemo)...I feel like they're approaching this like Ray/Prigioni and someone like Tony Taylor for next year will be enough and I just don't see thatc at all... Kinda feel like we shouldn't dip into the mini-ML for Priggy too -- then again, he's got only 1 year in the league and the vet minimum for a player with one year isn't even 800k I believe -- so in fairness, for all his experience, he probably deserves more than that. I like Pablo and want him to get paid -- I just don't wanna see us overbid. If that's the case, sayonara -- you were good Pabs, thank you, go get paid.

After Bledsoe, who's currently the best PG available that we might have a shot at? I like Darren Collison -- isn't he worth making a run at if we kept the full mini-MLE intact? Man, I think so...After that, I like Aaron Brooks a lot too, esp. if we can get him cheaper than Collison. Thinking about Brooks a lot the past couple of days, watching video, etc. -- this dude's right in his prime and he's VERY TALENTED. He fits the bill as far as a quick PG who can push it and penetrate goes. He can take anyone in this league off the dribble at will...Damn fine shooter too. Very good offensive player. Here's a guy that can take over and win games all by himself. Keeping it real -- Brooks might be better than Collison actually, better than Ray Felton even..And I'd definitely prefer Brooks over Prigioni to be honest if it came down to it...You can never have enough firepower in my view - never minded having a PG that can put the ball in the hole. To me, that's a great luxury and added benefit. The more people that can help Melo out in the scoring department, the better....Either Collison or Brooks are better buys than Prigioni imo.

At this point (and I don't even know if this is even realistic -- we just don't have any cap room to pay anybody!), I'd like to see us sign Aaron Brooks and Elton Brand. With JR Smith back in the mix, if we could add these 2 vets, then fill in the rest with smart/cheap signings, I think we're right there again for 50-55 wins.
