Can't possibly call it a day with Chandler as our only rebounder and only true center. Even if we targeted a PF that can body up and rebound, that's OK. I just can't see going into the season with this little amount of rebounding -- Chandler should get 10+, Melo will help the best he can but Bargnani and Stoudemire are POOR rebounders to say the least. This needs to be addressed. I don't want to go to war with a club that will automatically be at a severe disadvantage on the glass night in and night out. They need to recognize that it will cost us games if nothing is done about it. Even if it's not a regular rotation guy, I want Woody to have a fallback guy to go to if we're getting mauled inside, on the glass, etc. We're gonna need to come up with at least 1 equalizer here, preferably 2.
At the very least -- if we have trouble finding what we're looking for here, I'd bring back Earl Barron and let him backup Chandler. Sometimes the answer is right under your nose. We could easily get this guy back and I think he'd do a good job here when called upon. 7', he's a good rebounder and he can score a little too. Pretty good mid-range jumpshot.. I mean this dude's a pretty good player, fully capable of being a productive backup C...Out on a limb -- if Barron played we may have beaten the Pacers.
