Nets are WAY OVER THE CAP just like us
and they signed and traded bogans to the Celtics. Can we sign and trade Copeland to the pelicans or anyone for that matter, so that he doesn't walk for anything?

Yeah. One of the beat writers suggested doing a sign and trade for a trade exception with cope. .

I said earlier that Keith Bogans was the biggest winner of the trade.

We technically can but I doubt it could happen. One of the reasons Copeland is supposed to be leaving is that the Pelicans, or whoever, are willing to pay him more than we can. If he's leaving for more money than we can offer we wouldn't be able to sign him and then trade him.
