just got traded as a part of a deal to Houston for Robinson. If the Knicks still like him--Im sure they can do something

Weird. The Blazers are letting go of JJ Hickson because they wanted a traditional 5 next to Aldridge and decide tk bring in an even smaller player that will likely reprise that role this season.

Houston will ask for are 2018 1st round pick and Grunwald will throw in the 2020 pick for fun

He's probably an asset they wanna hold onto -- they can stash him away in Europe for the time being with no salary cap hit. It's not like they're gonna need to clear his salary now to make room for Howard. No affect on acquiring D-12. I wouldn't deal him if I were Morey but if I did decide to dangle him out there -- like Portland, the asking price would be high. Why not? I wouldn't give him away...And if I didn't get what I asked for -- F it -- I'd be content to stash away a pretty good piece until I could bring him over in a year or 2 maybe.
