I like how he handled running the point. He looked comfortable bringing it up and making good decisions with the ball. When he gets his feet set he looks deadly accurate. All he needs is some good coaching to refine his game and learn more about the game. If Woody can get him to be just a tad more aggressive that will really boost his game. I know he's working on his handle and perhaps adding more crossover skills. He said he never really worked on it cuz he was mostly the shooter on his teams. Doesn't mean he can't do it, just that he hasn't focused on it.

Well, our boy is no defensive stalwart. It might be a looooong time before he gets off of the bench. Does seem to have a decent shot, although it was a college 3. Needs to be more focused. Maybe get his father's killer instinct?

Looking at that video he reminds me of a 1st half of a season Landry Fields without the amazing rebounding ability he had at the time.

He is a similar type of role player that does a little of everything, but Landry was much more of a SF IMO. T Jr. is much more agile than Landry and he seems to have a much easier time pushing the ball up the floor and making good decisions with the ball. T Jr. looks more fluid moving behind screens and shooting. I think T Jr. would be great playing that Ray Allen/Rip Hamilton style SG role. We just need Woody to recognize this and get that mind of motion in the offense. What's the point of getting a mobile catch and shoot SG and not sending him in motion, running off curls and using screens? |

Great post jmpasq!!
Couple thoughts Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
