Knicks Will Face Top Draft Picks In Las Vegas Summer League

Starting on July 12, the Knicks will form a squad to compete in the NBA's annual Summer League in Las Vegas. New York will join 22 teams from around the league in a competition that features some of the best and brightest talent from the 2013 Draft. This year's Summer League will offer a unique twist with a tournament to crown a champion at the end of the 10-day event.

He did. Its a different Tony Mitchell. The Knicks seem to have a lot of interest in Murry.

He consistently put up 15pts....6 rbs.....5 assist

And that was 4yrs at Witchita State and 1 yr in the D-League

Toure Murry, Chris Smith, Shump, Hardaway, CJ Leslie, Tony Mitchell (Alabama), AJ Matthews & Jerome Jordan slated for #Knicks summer play.

Thats a nice lineup, as far as defense, fast breaks, and highlights.

I'm currious to see how Chris Smith and Toure Murry play. Are they SG's ....PG's....or combo guards?

Seems like there's no pure PG on this team. Which is not surprising. There's limited pure pt guards in the NBA. Everybody wants to be a Westbrook / Rose type....

Jackie Carmichael, Trevor Mbakwe, B.J. Young, D.J. Cooper and Michael Snaer are the five players without a destination from Schroeder's list.

Watching how our undrafted rookies and d league players match up against the elite draft picks will be a treat to watch. Cj leslie and aj will surprise many. And everybody will talk down the Hardaway selection...He might not out shine the other players, but he will be a solid nba role player. Can't ask for anything more from a 24th pick.
