Would you have preferred Alex Len (or anyone else at 6th) and Jared Dudley or Iman? Why?

the unprotected first was the only reason I would've considered it. At the timr though, the draft positions had not been determined.

Was it ever confirmed that it was their 1st round pick? Or was it the Lakers' from the Nash trade?

No way the Suns pick was involved I think we would of had to do the trade.Shump wasnt even playing well then. We could of picked Noel or McClemore

We are a fail of a franchise if we turned down a lottery pick and a rotation player for Shumpert a complete fail

I doubt they offered a 1st especially since shumpert was just coming off major injury

I don't remember it being reported that they offered a 1st rounder. More like we wanted one.

I heard dudley tahts it. I am glad we said no because shumpert is one of the best defenders when healthy. Also his offense is starting to evolve more

They say that the pick was "possible" but I remember reading that it was definitely involved at one point. Ultimately, it is that pick that either makes this trade ludicrous on our part or the Suns.

Don't believe the lotto pick was involved. If that was the case, we could've gotten Shump's replacement. I think the Suns were banking on us being desperate because we are in a win now mode.

NO! next question...lol
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The Phoenix Suns are interested in acquiring Knicks guard Iman Shumpert, according to Yahoo! Sports.

In return, the Knicks would receive forward Jared Dudley and a possible future first-round pick, a league source told Yahoo! Reports say the Knicks are not as motivated as the Suns to make a deal.

The 2011 first-round pick of the Knicks suffered an injury during last season’s first-round playoff matchup against the Heat. It was later revealed that the 6-foot-5, 220-pounder tore the ACL and meniscus in his left knee. He underwent major knee surgery in the offseason.

Shumpert is averaging 5.6 points for the Knicks this season. Dudley is averaging 11.8 points and 3.6 rebounds. He has three-years and $12.8 million remaining on his contract.

Yahoo! Sports also reported that Phoenix is trying to deal backup point guard Sebastian Telfair for a second-round pick.

Yeah I didnt recall the pick being involved at all. The Suns probably offered Dudley and then we asked for a pick 2 and they rebuffed. That would make sense.

Isn't it amazing how everyone has a buy low, but sell high attitude when it comes to the Knicks? Houston has been particularly brutal in their dealings with us. When will we stop the bleeding?
